Services
Autonomy Books provides publishing services including story development, ghostwriting, editing, design, publishing setup, and marketing assistance. The specific services, deliverables, and pricing for each project are agreed upon in writing before work begins.
Intellectual Property & Rights
You retain full ownership of your work. Autonomy Books does not claim any ownership, copyright, or intellectual property rights to your manuscripts, stories, ideas, or any creative content you provide or that we help create on your behalf. Upon completion of services and full payment, all rights to the work belong entirely to you, the author.
Payments & Pricing
All projects receive a detailed quote before work begins. Payment terms include:
- A deposit is typically required to begin work
- Milestone payments may apply for larger projects
- Final payment is due upon completion before delivery of final files
Selling Through Autonomy Books
Authors who choose to sell their books through the Autonomy Books platform agree to a 20% commission on net revenue (after printing costs for physical books). Authors may sell through any other platform or distributor without restriction and retain 100% of those earnings.
Revisions
Each service includes a specified number of revision rounds as outlined in your project agreement. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges at our standard hourly rate.
Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality of all client materials. Your manuscripts, ideas, and personal information will never be shared with third parties without your explicit consent.
Limitation of Liability
Autonomy Books provides professional publishing services but cannot guarantee specific sales results, market reception, or commercial success of published works. Our marketing services provide strategy and preparation; they do not guarantee sales outcomes.
